The Painter / Laborer will contribute to operations on active job sites while performing skilled hands-on work. This role combines painting and labor work. This is an ideal role for a reliable individual who values organization, craftsmanship, professionalism, and being part of a reliable, tight-knit crew.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHERS MAY BE ASSIGNED):
- Perform high-level prep and finish painting on residential and commercial interiors
- Deliver crisp lines, smooth surfaces, and consistent quality on every job
- Maintain clean, organized work areas during and after the job
- Assist with general jobsite duties including material handling, protection, and cleanup, light demolition, trash removal
- Assist other team members with work as necessary
- Collaborate with other trades on active jobsites
- Report directly to the Project Manager or Site Supervisor / Carpenter
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional painting experience (interior required, exterior a plus)
- Expert in brush, roll, cutting-in, caulking, patching, and surface prep
- Able to work neatly, efficiently, and independently
- Comfortable with ladders, scaffolding, and working in finished spaces
- Must be reliable, punctual, and respectful of clients' spaces
- Own set of basic tools (brushes, roller frames, multitool, etc.)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and construction scopes of work is preferable
- OSHA Training / SST Worker Card is preferable
- Valid driver’s license is preferable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
