Job Summary
We are seeking a Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Matterhorn is one of the most well-known restaurants in the entire Northeast. Be part of a legendary place. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. They will also learn food prep and line cooking.
Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures for proper food handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. This is an entry level position that can easily lead to other positions in the restaurant as well.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
