At Isaac’s Bagels, we believe in making the best food we can, learning every day, and treating each other with kindness. We’re known for hand-rolling, boiling, and baking thousands of bagels weekly and creating exceptional pastries and sweets. Our bakery team is talented, motivated, and full of energy, and we’re seeking one more experienced, passionate baker to help us bring delicious food to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce hand-rolled bagels and other bakery items, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist in daily bakery operations and maintain an organized, efficient workspace
- Manage and replenish stock of ingredients and supplies as needed
- Uphold health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
- Collaborate with the team to improve techniques, processes, and product quality
- Adhere to baking schedules, adjusting pace and workflow as necessary
- Contribute to product innovation and work on special projects or new flavors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production role, ideally with bread experience
- Knowledge of baking fundamentals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Passion for baking and a commitment to high-quality production
- Willingness to work varied hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy bakery environment
