Job Summary
Christ Episcopal School is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dependable Substitute Teachers to join our vibrant school community! Substitute teachers play an important role in ensuring that learning continues seamlessly while creating a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment for students in Preschool through Grade 8.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the classroom using lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
- Foster a warm, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
- Promote positive student behavior while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
- Communicate effectively with faculty and staff regarding the day's activities.
- Support the mission, values, and high standards of Christ Episcopal School.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; college coursework required.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and collaborative with a positive attitude.
- Successful completion of required background checks.
- Work authorization to work in the US.
