Position Overview:
We are looking for a polished, personable, and professional Host/Hostess to be the first and last impression of our restaurant. This role is critical in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, guest flow, and communication with the service team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating assignments efficiently using our booking platform (e.g., OpenTable)
- Maintain an accurate waitlist and quote wait times with professionalism
- Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth table turnover and service flow
- Answer phones, confirm reservations, and assist with special requests
- Keep the host stand, entryway, and restrooms tidy and presentable at all times
- Deliver service with poise, polish, and a genuine smile
Ideal Candidate:
- Lead Hostess experience preferred
- Calm under pressure and confident in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
