We are looking for a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician / Handyman to help maintain our commercial facility. If you enjoy solving problems, making repairs, and working independently, we'd like to hear from you.
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and handyman projects
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Assist with preventative maintenance, including HVAC filter changes
- Repair doors, locks, fixtures, ceiling tiles, flooring, and trim
- Maintain the grounds, parking areas, and exterior appearance
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed
- Move furniture and assist with facility improvement projects
- Operate a passenger shuttle van as needed (training provided)
- Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance records organized
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Experience safely using hand and power tools
- 3+ years of facilities, commercial building, apartment, hotel, hospital, or property maintenance
- Experience with:
- Painting and drywall repair
- Basic carpentry
- Plumbing repairs
- Basic electrical work (lights, switches, outlets)
- Door and hardware repairs
- Fixture and furniture installation
- Preventative maintenance
- Grounds maintenance and pressure washing
