WEEKENDS FREE, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.! Ophthalmology office has an immediate opening for a assistant/technician with potential for financial, personal and professional growth. Candidate must energetic, show initiative, work well in a team environment, be detail oriented and organized.
Requirements
Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with patients. Computer skills are necessary as we are on an EMR system. High school diploma and experience working in a medical, ophthalmic or optometric office beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Take patient histories, Visual acuity, IOP measurement, Refraction, Pachymetry, IOL Master, Pentacam, OCT, and Visual fields. Opportunities to learn new skills, and get certified.
Compensation. and Benefits.
Compensation is competitive in the area and will depend on level of experience. COA, COT,CNA, CMA and COMT will start higher. If not already certified it will be required to at least a COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) within one year of hire.
