Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Fleet and Safety Manager to lead our transportation fleet operations and cultivate a comprehensive safety culture across our organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management, maintenance, and compliance of our vehicle fleet while championing occupational health and safety initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor fleet management policies to optimize vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Lead safety training programs focused on OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, first aid procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and other safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety audits, root cause analysis of incidents, and report writing to identify hazards and develop corrective action plans.
- Ensure adherence to workers' compensation law by managing incident investigations, injury reports, and workers' compensation claims processes.
- Oversee the development of emergency response procedures, including first aid readiness and occupational health initiatives to promote a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure fleet operations support production goals while maintaining safety standards.
- Manage training & development programs for drivers and staff to enhance safety awareness, compliance knowledge, and operational skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation law, EPA standards, and occupational health practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and prepare detailed report writing for incident investigations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively on safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze data related to fleet performance and safety metrics for continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
