Go On Cargo LLC is hiring an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our commercial truck fleet.
We are looking for someone with strong Cummins X15 diagnostic experience who can handle repairs on-site and also help us develop and manage a strong preventive maintenance program for the fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Cummins X15 engine problems
- Use Cummins INSITE and other diagnostic equipment
- Troubleshoot check-engine lights and fault codes
- Diagnose DEF, DPF and aftertreatment systems
- Diagnose electrical, air, brake and cooling system problems
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs
- Help create and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for the fleet
- Track mileage and service intervals
- Maintain repair and maintenance records for each truck
- Identify potential problems before they cause breakdowns
- Help reduce downtime and keep trucks road-ready
Requirements:
- Previous heavy-duty diesel/fleet mechanic experience
- Cummins X15 experience required
- Cummins INSITE experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with commercial truck fleets
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
- Knowledge of DEF/DPF/aftertreatment systems
- Knowledge of DOT maintenance requirements
- Must have own basic mechanic tools
- Reliable and able to work independently
We are looking for a mechanic who can do more than basic maintenance. The right person should be able to diagnose problems, make repairs, organize fleet maintenance, and help prevent breakdowns before they happen.
