About the Position
This is a seasonal position, typically running from spring through fall (with the potential for longer-term or permanent employment for the right candidate).
No two days are the same. One day you may be installing a new pump system, the next troubleshooting a water issue on a ranch, or helping prepare irrigation systems for the season. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the water well and pump industry.
What You'll Do
- Assist with installing, repairing, and servicing water well pumps, pressure tanks, controls, and related equipment
- Help diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in water systems
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Operate power tools and equipment safely
- Perform maintenance, clean-up, and general labor on job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers while representing TC Pump
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and safely
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing Montana weather
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Mechanical, construction, agricultural, electrical, or equipment experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right person
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
