Summary
Atlas Staffing is hiring an Assembly Technician for a growing manufacturing company in Nampa, ID. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assemble and install signage components using tools, blueprints, and mechanical assembly skills.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building products, working with tools, and being part of a production team in a steady Monday through Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals
- Assemble and install signage components with accuracy and attention to detail
- Install piping, fixtures, wiring, electrical parts, LED components, and related hardware
- Use hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, and measuring tools to secure parts
- Operate basic metalworking equipment such as milling or grinding machines
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work independently and with a team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience using hand tools and power tools required
- Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable with repetitive motion, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
