Field Sales & Marketing Representative — Lubbock, TX
Company: ResidAlly LLC Type: Part-time | Pay: Flexible — hourly base + performance pay Reports to: Founder/CEO; coordinates daily with our remote Sales & Customer Care Manager
We're a Lubbock-based startup (winner of the I-Hub accelerator program) on a mission to help seniors stay in the homes they love by renting spare rooms to young tenants who need affordable housing. We're looking for our first local face on the ground.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role for someone smart, warm, and self-directed. You'll wear several hats and have a direct hand in growing the business in your own city, working closely with our remote Sales & Customer Care Manager who handles inbound calls.
What You'll Do
- Onboard members in person. Visit homeowners (often seniors) to help them set up their profile, build their room listing, and order their background check. Patience matters more than tech wizardry.
- Show up locally. Set up and staff booths at community events, fairs, and university orientations — and be the friendly face people remember.
- Network & build partnerships. Meet people, raise awareness, and build referral relationships with local organizations like nonprofits, clinics, universities, and senior centers.
- Be our eyes and ears. Gather feedback from members and prospects, note what's resonating (and what isn't), and report insights and local market trends back to the team so we keep getting better.
- Protect the brand. We're warm, honest, and never pushy. You'll uphold that in every interaction.
Who You Are
- Smart and articulate — comfortable talking to a 22-year-old tenant and an 82-year-old homeowner in the same day.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and genuinely patient with people who find technology intimidating.
- A clear communicator and comfortable speaking to groups — and organized enough to record feedback and details accurately.
- Professional in appearance and manner; you'll be the in-person face of the company.
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid license, and are willing to travel locally (occasionally up to ~2 hours around Lubbock). Some evenings/weekends for events.
- Sales, customer service, or community outreach experience is a plus, and bilingual (Spanish) is a bonus — but the right attitude matters most.
