Overview
Sanitation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facilities. We are looking to immediately hire 1st and 3rd shift positions. The use of an electric pallet jack is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning within a warehouse setting
- Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively.
- Handle chemicals responsibly, following safety protocols for cleaning agents and disinfectants used in sanitation processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of all departments that include but not limited to freezer, cooler and Dry areas
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Support infection control measures by adhering to proper sanitation protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a focus on sanitation.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving supplies or equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
- Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and proper use of PPE for safety compliance.
- Experience with cleaning equipment operation including vacuums, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers.
- Knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a hygienic environment across all areas.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
