Operate a CNC saw to make specific cuts in round, rectangle and square tubing, as well as angle iron, I-beams, channel, flat bar and round bar
Specific tasks include:
- Work from paper job orders
- Load appropriate material onto saw
- Operate overhead crane
- Enter desired angles into computer
- Monitor saw while cutting
- Check OD and ID measurements
- Use calipers or micrometers
- Changing coolant and some preventative maintenance
- Putting 5S principles into practice
Shift: Could be 1st or 2nd shift, depending on preference of selected applicant
Safety toes required.
Must be self-motivated to efficiently use work time.
