Position Summary
The Warehouse Co-Lead supports the Warehouse Manager in the daily operation of the warehouse by leading warehouse staff, coordinating daily workflow, and ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient handling of inventory. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Warehouse Co-Lead serves as the Warehouse Manager's primary backup and assists with supervising operations during their absence.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations and provide direction to warehouse associates.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with scheduling staff and coordinating daily workloads.
- Train and onboard seasonal and new warehouse employees.
- Pull products from storage, verify order accuracy, and load delivery trucks in a timely manner.
- Receive inbound shipments, unload trucks, inspect deliveries, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and complete required shipping and receiving documentation.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse while following company safety policies.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse as needed to support daily operations.
- Work independently while effectively communicating with the Warehouse Manager and office staff.
- Assist with inventory organization and accuracy.
- Support warehouse operations during peak seasons, including weekend work as required.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Current forklift certification required.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, seasonal warehouse environment.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and seasonal workload fluctuations.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend availability required during peak season

- Reports To: Warehouse Manager
