Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing home management, demonstrating leadership in resident care, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team committed to providing exceptional senior and memory care services, including specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Duties
- Manage overall facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with long-term care regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care services.
- Supervise and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care and staff performance.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain thorough documentation using Microsoft Office tools for reporting, care plans, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the facility meets all health regulation policies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and community services to support residents’ health and well-being.
- Lead financial management activities such as budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency.
- Promote a positive environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and staff engagement.
- Stay informed about long-term care legislation and best practices in senior living, assisted living, and residential care home management.
Experience
- Proven experience managing nursing homes or senior living facilities with a strong background in nursing home administration.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support services.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or residential settings.
- Familiarity with healthcare financial management including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disability services is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols within long-term care environments.
- Previous experience in assisted living or retirement home settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies related to home & community-based services and residential care homes.
- Ability to manage operations effectively while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
