American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.
-
Work on a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a Level III Trauma Center hospital
-
Patient population includes all ages
-
Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
-
Charting is done in Meditech EHR
-
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required with additional weekends as needed
-
On-call responsibilities as needed
-
Floating as needed with possibility of floating to similar med/surg units
-
Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
-
MS/Tele experience required
-
IV insertion skills required
-
Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry background check prior to start

Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to patients of all ages
-
Weekly orientation held on Mondays
-
Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
