Job Summary
A successful auto body shop is seeking an Auto Body Shop Manager. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality repair standards, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive repair, possesses strong leadership and customer service skills, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of shop operations, including estimating, negotiations with insurance companies, workflow, and customer service.
- Provide estimates and expert advice to customers
- Oversee vehicle repairs, order parts and ensure timely completion while maintaining high standards
- Drive sales efforts by building relationships with insurance companies and clients.
Experience
- Proven 5+ years of management experience in an auto body shop
- Proficiency in CCC or similar estimating software is a must.
- Ability to instill confidence in customers, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure an excellent service experience from initial estimate through vehicle delivery
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster a collaborative work culture, and effectively manage multiple vehicle repair projects while maintaining high quality standards.
