Job Summary
Join our delivery and pickup-only yogurt and açaí dessert shop as a Kitchen Helper. In this hands-on role, you will support daily kitchen operations by preparing yogurt and açaí products, assembling and decorating bowls, packaging orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your attention to detail will help ensure that every order is prepared accurately, presented beautifully, and meets our quality standards.
Duties
- Assist with preparing yogurt, açaí bases, fruit, toppings, drinks, and other menu items
- Assemble and decorate yogurt bowls, açaí bowls, smoothies, and desserts
- Prepare and package customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and preparation instructions
- Monitor incoming orders and complete them on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies as needed
Requirements
- Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks
- Strong sense of urgency and able to complete incoming orders quickly, accurately, and on time
- Previous food preparation experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working in a boba shop, café, smoothie shop, dessert shop, or similar environment is a plus
- Able to follow instructions and maintain consistent product quality
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
