Primary Duties: Deliver newspapers to designated routes - insert into newspaper boxes and/or place on stands in stores. Collect monies from sales. Maintain/move racks as necessary. Assist in inserting advertising materials into newspapers using designated equipment designed for that purpose. Learn mailing system(s)/software for the different locations.
Position is located at our Perry, GA print facility.
- Ability to follow and carry out instructions independently.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop and bend frequently to pick up inserts and newspaper bundles.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds/push carts/wagons on wheels, weighing up to 500 pounds.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work flexible shift if need arises.
- Dependable.
- Ability to react to change in productively.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Must have current driver's license and clean driving record.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
