Client Service & Accounting Associate

We offer a professional environment, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package. Due to continued growth of our Firm, we are currently looking to add a Client Service & Accounting Associate position in our Evansville, Indiana office.
As the face and voice of the Firm, this individual is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for clients and visitors. An integral part of the Client Service Team, the role ensures that all interactions and touchpoints reflect the Firm’s values and leave a lasting positive impression. In addition, this role provides essential accounting functions to support the Firm's financial and operational processes.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Anticipating and addressing client and visitor needs promptly while demonstrating attentiveness
- Answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and providing accurate information to callers or visitors
- Assisting clients and advisors with appointment scheduling and meeting room arrangements
- Maintaining a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the Firm’s brand and values
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, as well as ensuring proper distribution
- Process accounts payable by reviewing, coding, routing for approval, and paying invoices
- Prepare and distribute client invoices and monitor accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate accounting records and related documentation
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process
- Coordinate with external accounting professionals as needed
- Maintain vendor files and payment records
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and confidentially
- Providing administrative support as needed, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining records, among other tasks
- Supporting and completing special firm-wide projects in accordance with prescribed standards and guidelines
- Participate in training and education programs to stay current on firm policies, procedures, software, and key industry risks
- Adhering to the firm’s human resources, compliance, operations, etc. policies and procedures to mitigate risk to the firm.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred
- Previous administrative, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics or Workday) preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
