Quonnie Farms scratch bakery is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic full-time production associate join our team, assisting with the mixing, shaping and baking of various doughs, both yeasted and sourdough. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a face paced, high volume kitchen and handling multiple large batches of dough at one time, including all stages of production from scaling, mixing, shaping, proofing and baking. This position consists of four ten hour shirts and tips included.
Responsibilities include:
Operation of both planetary and spiral commercial mixers
Operation of both convection and deck ovens
Precisely scaling dough ingredients
Shaping various breads including baguette, epi, ciabatta, sourdough, rye, pizza shells etc
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow recipes accurately and consistently
Maintain accurate records of inventory and production levels.
Assist with customer service duties, such as taking orders, answering questions, and providing product information.
Hours needed: Sunday 3M-1PM, Monday and Tuesday 4AM-2PM, flexible prep shift
38-40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
