We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience. You will prepare and serve food, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide excellent customer service. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils.
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and is safe for consumption by adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service to guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met and to gather feedback on their experience.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including cutting meats and preparing other breakfast items.
- Restock food items as necessary throughout the breakfast service period.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience in meat cutting or similar tasks is a plus but not mandatory.
