American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a TX or compact RN license, BLS and NIHSS certifications, and at least 1-2 years of experience.

Work on a 36-bed private room Cardiac Telemetry unit (5 North) in a hospital setting
-
Patient population ranges from young adults through geriatric patients requiring medical-level cardiac care
-
Priority admissions include post-cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, pacemaker implant, and hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients

Patient ratio of 1:5-6

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Epic EMR experience preferred

13-week contract

Active TX or compact RN license required

Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
