In search of a Controls Engineer. We have an opportunity for someone who can immediately provide expertise in programming of industrial controls including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems and Robots. Essential Responsibilities:
- Programing of PLC’s and HMI’s for maximum reliability and operator function (AB, Siemens, Keyence, etc.)
- SCADA programming and development using Inductive Automation Ignition platform
- Computer networking configurations & setups in an industrial environment
- Duties may expand into Robotics as warranted by client demand
- Interpret client requirements, specifications, standards, process diagrams and P&ID documents
- Design modification/improvements for on-going projects to meet changing scope requirements
- Proactive in market analysis and product knowledge to maintain competitive advantages
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting to support existing client operations
Essential Qualifications:
- Dependability and a strong work ethic is a must!
- Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering, Programming, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology is highly preferred
- Five (5) plus years of related design experience with industrial automation control systems including PLC’s, HMI’s, motor control and fluid power
- Proficient in the programming of industrial systems using PLC and HMI software such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Keyence.
- Experience in SCADA systems such as Inductive Automation Ignition.
- Experience with programming robots built by Yaskawa, Motoman, Fanuc, Universal Robots, etc. is preferred
- Knowledge in the designing to machine safety standards/requirements and component selection to maintain human safety is preferred
- Knowledge in electrical design using AutoCad, SolidWorks, or equivalent a plus
- Knowledge in pneumatic system design/implementation a plus
- General computer & software expertise: SQL, Windows, Linux, Microsoft Office Suites

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
