We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Barista Cashier to join our vibrant café team! Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following quality standards
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation and serving areas
- Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure freshness and presentation quality
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive experience
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between cashier duties, serving, and coffee making
Experience
- Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong skills in retail math, basic math operations, and cash handling are essential for accurate transactions
- Experience in food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving beverages and light foods
