What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll support the full recruitment and selection process for Boone County Joint Communications by:
- Updating and maintaining job applications
- Scheduling and coordinating testing, interviews, and selection appointments
- Assisting with applicant background investigations
- Supporting and coordinating recruiting events
- Assisting with social media outreach and public relations efforts
- Participating in public education and community engagement initiatives
You won’t just fill positions, you’ll help build a team that answers critical calls when our community needs help most.
Schedule & Status
- Full-time, non-exempt
- Monday – Friday
- Primarily 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- At least two (2) years of relevant clerical experience
- Typing speed of 35 wpm
- Valid Missouri driver’s license
- Ability to obtain MULES certification within six (6) months
- Ability to meet FBI & MSHP CJIS Security policy requirements
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and national fingerprint background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting or human resources experience
- Public relations or communications experience
- Social media management experience
Compensation
- Starting Hourly Range: $20.30 – $20.92
