Urgently hiring for a client in Sun City needing 24/7 care, but we are hiring for other locations as well.
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to mostly aging adults or people with disabilities. You will provide high quality Non-medical care to clients in their home. The needs of the client can vary.
Forward Caregiving is owned and led by an occupation therapist who will lead all training for employees to provide the best care possible for our clients.
We are looking for caregivers with any availability. Caregivers looking for full time work will be given priority for hours, but part time and PRN work is available. We prefer someone with experience but we can help with any training needed to be comfortable with providing care. Caregivers are W-2 employees.
Duties
Provide non-medical care to fulfill the needs of clients who have lost the ability to complete tasks on their own. These may include:
- Personal Care: Bathing, showering, personal hygiene routines, dressing, mobility, or other ADLs.
- Companionship to help the client engage socially and prevent loneliness.
- Light housecleaning to keep the home organized and free of clutter that could make it dangerous for a client.
- Transportation to complete errands or drive clients to appointments
- Meal preparation for clients to eat meals or to have meals ready to eat/make on their own.
Requirements
-CPR/First Aid certifications needed to begin providing care
-Background check will be done before hiring
-Mist be able bodied to provide assistance to someone for mobility, transferring into and out of bed, etc.
