Outside Sales Representative
Job Description: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing the company's presence among repair shops, fleets, and dealerships within an assigned territory. This role requires regular field visits to manage existing accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities through cold calling and growing business with existing customers. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, effective negotiation skills, and the organizational discipline needed to oversee a full territory without oversight. The right candidate brings reliability, consistency, and a genuine commitment to customer service, along with the relationship-building skills, confident communication skills, and self-motivation this role demands.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow an existing book of business across repair shops, fleet accounts, and dealership customers within an assigned territory

Prospect and cold call to identify and secure new accounts

Conduct regular in-person visits to customer locations to build relationships, present products and services, and identify sales opportunities

Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Maintain in-depth product knowledge of aftermarket auto parts to advise customers and recommend solutions

Track sales activity, customer interactions, and call plans in CRM software
-
Coordinate with inside sales, counter staff, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain long-term relationships
Qualifications

Previous B2B sales experience required; automotive aftermarket, parts distribution, or related industry experience strongly preferred

Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Proficiency with CRM software, email, and basic office applications

Qualifications: Ability to drive daily with frequent stops within assigned territory, Ability to lift and carry parts/samples as needed of 40 lbs. or more, Excellent computer and customer service skills, Extended periods of driving and sitting, Ability to pass pre-employment and on-going random drug tests.
