Job Summary: Assist in proper and safe preparation of menu items; work with Cook to meet or exceed customer expectations and in accordance with Health Department regulations, as well as company vision, mission, and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with preparation of food items that meet established specifications; assist in operating food equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and established policies/procedures; maintain highest quality and appearance of all food prepared and served; ensure that presentation is in accordance with standards, recipes and procedures; follow supervisor instructions regarding maintenance and stocking of adequate supplies; immediately communicate guest concerns to cook, server, supervisor or manager; keep general work areas, equipment and storage units clean and sanitized; chill, store and rotate (FIFO) food items properly; practice proper sanitation and food handling procedures, including frequent hand washing; follow all Health Department food safety and sanitation policies. Other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent
Previous line cook experience (1 year) required
