Who We Are
The Song Spot is a professional music studio serving a growing community of students of all ages and skill levels, with locations in Nashville and Philadelphia. Our instructors are trained musicians and educators — many holding advanced degrees in vocal pedagogy, performance, or composition — who bring a science-based, supportive approach to every lesson. We're passionate about creating a safe space for students to explore their voice and their instrument, and about helping them reach their musical goals through one-on-one lessons, songwriting coaching, and more.
Why We're Different
We treat our instructors as professionals and invest in their growth as teachers and artists, including:
- Vocal pedagogy training and ongoing teacher mentorship, included for all instructors
- A collaborative team of working musicians, performers, and educators
- A supportive studio culture built around student (and teacher) growth
(Note: as a part-time position, this role does not currently include formal benefits like healthcare or paid time off.)

Each teaching room comes equipped with piano, guitar, and ukulele, so you're set up to teach your lesson your way from day one.
