Job Summary
Celebrate Independence provides services to individuals who participate in DDA Waivers in their homes and communities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting DDA participants in their daily activities and fostering their independence. This post is for clients in Frederick County.
***MUST HAVE PERSONAL VEHICLE AND DRIVER'S INSURANCE***
**CPR/First Aid and Mandt certification is a huge plus**
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in activities of daily living and personal hygiene, light housework, laundry and grocery shopping
- Facilitate client engagement in their community as they choose
- Help clients secure volunteer sites
- Help individuals achieve goals as outlined in their PCP
- Keep accurate time sheet logs and submit them each week
Experience
- Minimum 1 year direct care experience
- Must have personal transportation
- Must pass state and federal background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
