Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both our medical spa and primary care practice. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care, assist providers with clinical procedures, perform administrative duties and help create a welcoming environment for every patient.
Duties
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories and chief complaints.
- Assist nurse practitioners with exams and in-office procedures.
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and specimen collection as needed.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards.
- Maintain medical equipment.
- Manage inventory and order medical policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service while promoting patient satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aid certificate.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding patient care.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
