Responsibilities
- Mix and apply stucco, plastering, and other exterior wall finishes according to project specifications and schematics
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing existing structures to ensure proper adhesion
- Install rebar and metal stud framing as needed for structural support before applying finishes
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow design plans and technical details
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with concrete finishing, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and roof repairs during renovation projects
- Collaborate with team members on masonry work, metal welding, rebar installation, and restoration efforts to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on stucco application or related trades such as masonry or plastering
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for construction projects
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols on-site
- Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing, rebar installation, metal stud framing, and tile laying
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and renovation techniques
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interpret project plans effectively
