About the Role:
The Pricing Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and management of pricing strategies across our product lines. You will work cross-functionally with sales, finance, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input and update pricing information in ERP, pricing software, or other systems.
- Load and maintain customer contract and matrix pricing.
- Work with Sales to address customer pricing inquiries and exceptions.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams on new pricing structures.
- Evaluate vendor pricing to secure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
- Prepare monthly pricing expiration and ad hoc reporting for sales and management teams.
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Previous Pricing (preferably in the HVAC industry) experience required.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to present data and insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to translate pricing data and concepts into clear, understandable recommendations.
- Proficiency with Excel and business intelligence tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field or work experience equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or related analytical role.
- Experience in HVAC distribution, mechanical-contracting, or building-materials distribution strongly preferred.
