- Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Approximately 33 hours per week
Position Overview
Rustic Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an adult male client. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life while remaining in their home environment.
The caregiver will work directly with one client and will be responsible for providing companionship, supervision, assistance with activities of daily living, and support with community engagement. We are seeking someone who is patient, reliable, and committed to building a positive and professional relationship with both the client and the agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care and supervision in the client's home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Accompany the client to approved community activities and appointments as necessary.
- Encourage social interaction and participation in activities that promote independence and well-being.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental condition.
- Accurately document services provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, personal care services, nursing assistance, caregiving, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred.
- A caring, compassionate, and dependable personality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
