We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our fast-paced warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders
- Assist with order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling production requests
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Conduct manual handling of materials, raw material, including heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing stock within production and the warehouse
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
- Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow
Skills
- Bilingual: English and Spanish Required
- Extensive warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes
- Proven ability as an order picker with experience using RF scanners for inventory accuracy
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, Reach/clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures including documentation verification and load securing
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
