Duties
- Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications
- Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools safely and effectively
- Support food production during high-volume periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with assembly line tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and food handling safety practices is a plus
- Kitchen experience in a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment will help you excel in this role
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper use of culinary tools such as knives and baking equipment
