- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex or chronic conditions.
- Uphold all safety protocols related to occupational health standards and hygiene practices within the spa or clinic setting.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
- Expertise in advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for maintaining a safe treatment environment.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assess patient needs and explain treatment options clearly. Pay: $32.87 - $39.58 per hour
