Fence Foreman
We are seeking an experienced Fence Foreman to lead, oversee, and work alongside our installation crews on fence projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring all fencing installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Fence Foreman, you will manage crews, communicate with homeowners on the day of installation, direct team members in the field, read project plans, and actively participate in fence installation work. You will be responsible for ensuring project timelines are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and construction best practices. Your leadership will play a key role in project success and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fencing crews on construction sites
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure fences are installed correctly, are durable, and meet client expectations
- Review project plans/drawings to ensure scope alignment and proper resource allocation
- Communicate with homeowners and clients professionally throughout the installation process
- Train, mentor, and work alongside fence installers, providing guidance on technical installation tasks
- Install fence systems including vinyl, steel, cedar, and other fencing materials
- Operate and/or oversee post driving and post installation equipment safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, and modify lumber and fencing materials as needed on-site
- Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and productivity goals are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times

Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management experience supervising construction crews in fencing or related construction projects
- Extensive hands-on construction site experience, preferably in fence installation
- Experience installing vinyl, steel, and cedar fencing systems
- Knowledge of post driving and post-setting methods and equipment
- Ability to measure accurately and cut lumber/materials as needed for installation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and measurements accurately
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
- Effective communication skills with both crew members and customers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
