Duties
- Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with preschool curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social skills activities
- Support children’s developmental needs by providing individualized attention and encouragement during classroom activities and routines
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, group activities, and behavioral management strategies to foster positive interactions
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored instructional strategies and behavior management techniques
- Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and cleanup to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early literacy and math education
- Experience working with children with autism or disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and staff
- Ability to follow lesson plans and assist in curriculum development tailored for preschool learners
- Technical proficiency with basic classroom technology and educational tools
- Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Certification or coursework in special education or early childhood education is advantageous but not required
