At Oliver’s we offer numerous hair services such as cuts, coloring, and styling. We also offer specialty services for those looking for the next level of treatment with waxing, tinting, lashes, Keratin Treatments, extensions, nails, and more. Within our 34+ years of business we have created a beautiful, welcoming salon atmosphere with the help of our wonderful team of stylists, lash artists, management, and guest services. We value a team environment so we can continue to grow together, learn together and become better- together. We provide quarterly hair education, product knowledge, and leadership courses to all of our team members. It is important for us to bring in educators from around the world to provide knowledge, experience, and next level guest experiences.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetologist to join our team. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of beauty services to our clients, including hair care, and optional services according to your certifications and interests including nail care and other aesthetic treatments. If you have a creative flair and excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform haircuts, hair styling, and hair coloring treatments
- Perform waxing and threading services for hair removal (optional)
- Provide hair extension services for clients seeking length or volume (optional)
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license in the state of Kansas
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist, with expertise in various beauty treatments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in using salon software for appointment scheduling and record keeping
- Familiarity with hair extensions techniques and application methods (optional)
- Experience in using straight razors for shaving and beard trimming (optional)
