OpenLoop is powering the next generation of care delivery by enabling organizations to launch and scale virtual care across all 50 states. We partner with digital health companies, health plans, and health systems to deliver high-quality care—anywhere.
We’re hiring a Director of Health System Sales to build and scale our health system vertical. This is a highly strategic, execution-focused role responsible for generating pipeline, closing complex enterprise deals, and developing referral-based partnership opportunities as a core sales motion.
You will lead the most complex sales cycles with health systems, set the strategy for how OpenLoop wins in this segment, and lay the operational foundation the vertical scales on. This is a builder's role for someone who has done it before and wants to own the outcome.
What You’ll Do
Own health system revenue end to end—build, manage, and grow a pipeline of health system partners (IDNs, large independent primary care groups, and regional and national hospitals) and carry the number for the vertical.
Lead and close the most complex enterprise and referral-partnership deals, from executive introduction through implementation and program launch.
Own vertical performance—forecasting, exceeding goals for both new-account generation and activation of patient referrals from secured accounts.
Position OpenLoop as the leading health system partner solution to extend care delivery, address capacity, and close care gaps—starting in clinical nutrition and medical weight loss, and working with leadership to expand into additional specialties.
Build the go-to-market and operational infrastructure—playbooks, deal registration systems, and reporting dashboards—that move the channel from pilot phase to a repeatable, high-growth revenue stream.
Structure sophisticated commercial relationships, including joint ventures and other strategic partnerships, in partnership with leadership.
Work cross-functionally to ensure clinical, product, operations, and customer support are informed and aligned ahead of every health system implementation and launch.

Who you are:
10–15+ years of experience in Channel Sales, Business Development, or Partner Activation within B2B Healthcare, with significant time selling into large health systems and provider groups.
A deep professional network and fluency in health systems, ideally across outpatient services, primary care, and provider networks.
A proven closer of complex, high-value enterprise deals with long sales cycles and multiple executive stakeholders.
Proven experience establishing referral relationships with large provider groups, from introductory call through implementation and program launch.
Experience structuring complex financial relationships with health systems, including joint ventures or other strategic partnerships.
You build the machine, not just the deal—you are comfortable creating the playbooks, systems, and structure a vertical scales on.
You have hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM and maintain accurate, current pipeline data and honest forecasting.
