Business Systems Implementation Manager (ResMan)About Realty Resources Management
Realty Resources Management is seeking a Business Systems Implementation Manager to lead the implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvement of ResMan across the organization. This is a key role for someone who understands property management operations, enjoys improving systems and processes, and can help teams move through change with structure, clarity, and practical support.
For more than 30 years, Realty Resources Management has provided professional management services for affordable housing communities throughout the Northeast. Our work is grounded in preserving quality affordable housing, supporting residents, and delivering reliable results for the owners, agencies, lenders, and partners who place their trust in us.
Today, Realty Resources is entering an exciting new chapter. We are expanding our portfolio, investing in technology, strengthening our leadership team, and building the systems and processes needed to support continued growth.
About the Opportunity
The Business Systems Implementation Manager will serve as Realty’s internal project lead for the ResMan implementation. This role will coordinate implementation activities across operations, compliance, occupancy, accounting, maintenance, executive leadership, site teams, consultants, and software partners.
The successful candidate will help ensure ResMan is configured, tested, launched, and adopted in a way that supports Realty’s operational, compliance, accounting, maintenance, reporting, and service needs. This is not a purely technical role. It sits at the intersection of technology and operations and requires someone who can translate business needs into practical workflows, training, documentation, system use, and ongoing process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
· Serve as Realty’s internal project manager and primary business lead for the ResMan implementation, owning the day-to-day coordination of configuration, data conversion, testing, training, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support.
· Lead cross-functional implementation work across operations, compliance, occupancy, accounting, maintenance, executive leadership, site teams, consultants, and software partners.
· Develop and maintain implementation plans, timelines, task lists, meeting agendas, status reports, issue logs, decision trackers, training materials, and system documentation.
· Coordinate requirements gathering with department leaders to ensure ResMan is configured to support Realty’s operational, compliance, accounting, maintenance, reporting, and property management needs.
· Evaluate current workflows and help translate them into practical, standardized system processes for property operations, resident records, leasing, certifications, compliance tracking, work orders, approvals, reporting, and related functions.
· Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, and open decisions, and work with leadership to resolve issues before they affect go-live readiness or operational continuity.
· Support data conversion, cleanup, mapping, reconciliation, and validation to help ensure system information is accurate, complete, reliable, usable, and accessible to the teams that need it.
· Coordinate user acceptance testing, document results, track defects or workflow concerns, and help leadership assess go-live readiness based on testing outcomes, data quality, user preparedness, unresolved issues, and operational risk.
· Serve as an internal resource for ResMan questions, workflow issues, user concerns, permissions, reporting needs, system requests, and implementation-related follow-up.
· Coordinate post-go-live support, including issue tracking, escalation, resolution, user reinforcement, and identification of recurring training, configuration, or process gaps.
· Partner with operations, compliance, occupancy, maintenance, accounting, and leadership teams to improve business processes, reporting, communication, accountability, and system adoption.
· Help reduce reliance on informal workarounds, duplicate tracking systems, and inconsistent property-level practices by building clearer workflows, shared standards, and reliable system use.
· Support future system enhancements, integrations, property onboarding, training refreshers, reporting improvements, and business process initiatives.
· Help build a technology-forward culture that uses systems consistently, thoughtfully, and effectively.
· Lead or support future business systems initiatives after the ResMan implementation is complete.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
· Experience leading system implementations, business process improvement projects, property management software projects, or other cross-functional initiatives.
· Strong project management, organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
· Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, department leaders, site teams, consultants, vendors, and end users.
· Strong understanding of property management operations, affordable housing operations, compliance, occupancy, accounting, maintenance, or related business functions.
· Comfort working with workflows, data, reports, issue logs, user permissions, testing processes, training materials, and system documentation.
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships, lead change, and support users through new systems or processes.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with ResMan, Yardi, RealPage, MRI, Bostonpost, OneSite, or similar property management software platforms.
· Affordable housing experience, including HUD Section 8, Rural Development, LIHTC, or other regulated housing programs.
· Experience with data conversion, user acceptance testing, software training, system administration, workflow documentation, or reporting.
· Experience supporting multi-site property management operations.
· Familiarity with resident file management, rent processing, work order systems, compliance tracking, property onboarding, and owner reporting.
