Duties
- Operate cash registers using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders, and handle cash handling with precision while ensuring excellent customer service
- Prepare a variety of menu items including meals, snacks, and specialty milkshakes following food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to food handling guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities and promote special offers or new products effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to meet sanitation standards and ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Assist with bussing tables, managing food service customer order management, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash register operations preferred
- Proven ability in food preparation, food handling, and maintaining high standards of food safety management
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, or blenders is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
