Full Job Description
This position assists in the storage and shipping of laminated and unlaminated goods as needed to meet the demands of our customers. This includes loading material averaging 60-70 (and up to 130) pounds in weight.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Performs Shipping and Receiving as needed. Must be able to dive a forklift
- Load and Unload trucks
- Scan product onto packing slips
- Performs quality checks, as requested
- Move inventory as needed
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of shipping procedures
- Reliable attendance record, with excellent work ethic
- Average proficiency with Windows computers
- Good data entry skills
- Ability to communicate, read and write effectively in English
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing and bending for extended periods of time
- Lifting in a safe and prudent manner, as trained without straining
- Ability to drive a sit down forklift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to relay necessary information to co-workers
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and handheld scanner
- Correctable vision and hearing
- Must pass drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17/hr depending on qualifications

- 9 hour shift
