We are seeking an experienced Cement Mason Foreman for a full-time, on-site position. This role requires the ability to travel to various project locations as needed.
The Cement Mason Foreman will oversee and manage concrete projects, supervise field crews, coordinate daily job site activities, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive hands-on concrete experience, and the ability to manage crews on prevailing wage/union projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead concrete crews on active job sites
- Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, and equipment needs
- Prepare, place, finish, and oversee concrete work
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and quality standards
- Maintain a safe and productive job site
- Enforce safety protocols and construction best practices
- Communicate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades
- Track job progress and assist with daily reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cement Mason Foreman
- Strong knowledge of concrete work, concrete placement, finishing, and job site operations
- Experience working with union crews (carpenters, laborers, iron workers, etc)
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project plans
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
- Must be willing and able to travel to various project locations as needed
