Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where precision and quality are paramount. The Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that machines operate efficiently and produce high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and flexo presses.
- Set up machines according to specifications and perform necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate production.
- Conduct regular quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools for fabrication, assembly, and materials handling as needed.
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Skills
- Proficient in operating Fanuc programmable logic controllers and CNC programming.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience with CAM programming for automated machining processes.
- Knowledge of press brake machines, welding techniques, and general mechanical knowledge.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes, including machining, packaging, and fabrication.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Competence in using basic math for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of quality control measures.
