Uses special imaging equipment to perform diagnostic tests and examinations to help determine a patients diagnosis and treatment options.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

Provides radiological services by exemplifying the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform a variety of radiographic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for radiographic

Assists physicians and radiologists in the performance of examinations.
- Maintains responsibility for the accurate assessment of the patient by determining their ability to comply with the physical requirements of the examination to minimize patient or examination problems.

Performs ultrasound procedures according to protocols and patient specific needs.
- Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.

Experience and Skills:
Education, Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
-
Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
-
Licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.
-
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible.
-
Basic Life Support (BLS).
-
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
