Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently to clean all cookware, utensils, glassware, and cutlery
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing ingredients using proper knife skills and handling food preparation equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, sinks, and dish areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces in accordance with safety standards in production
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes while following proper safety procedures for heavy lifting and manual handling
- Support food production by organizing clean dishes for service and ensuring timely availability of utensils for kitchen staff
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper food handling practices are maintained
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients or managing inventory counts
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper manual handling techniques
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices aligned with food safety regulations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork skills coupled with customer service awareness to support overall restaurant operations

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
